Mega Park
Complete all scenarios to unlock Mega Park, a sprawling
tract of land with no objectives.
Increase Park Rating
Though it is questionable ethically, it
makes business sense. Maintain high park ratings by drowning all unhappy guests! (Click on a mad guest and use the pincer
icon to place him in the water.)
Hungry Guest
Enter "Tony Day" as a guest name and he will eat
lots of hamburgers.
Waving guest
Enter "Katie Brayshaw" as a guest name to have
her walk around and wave to everyone.
Wandering Photographers
Enter "Simon Foster" or "Chris Sawyer"
as a guest name. Simon or Chris will walk around the park taking pictures.
Happy Guest
Enter "Melanie Warn" as a guest name to make very
happy guests.
Names For Rides
Scrambled Eggs-Psycho Spin-Color the arms a
dark Green ad the seats dark blue
Hard Boiler-Color the arms White and the seats Golden
Swinging Ship-Blue Dragon-Color The Station Platform Blue And the rest dark blue
Double Payment for Rides
Enter "John Mace" as a guest name.
He will pay twice the listed amount to ride the rides
"Wow!" thinking guest
Enter "John Wardley" as a guest name.
He will walk around the park with thought balloons about his head saying WOW!
"Get off my benches"
Click on a bench if someone is sitting
on it they will get up and move around.
Cheat: Speedy Go-Karts
Enter "Damon Hill" as a guest name to
make go-karts faster.
Enter "Michael Schumacher" as a guest name to make the go-karts blisteringly fast.
Cheat: Slower Go-Carts
Enter Mr.Bean and you will have very
slow go-carts.
Portrait Painting Guest
Name a guest Simon Foster and he will
paint portraits.
Guest with unlimited money!
Name a guest "BigBucks" and he
will never run out of money.
R & D Super Enhancement
Wait for guest 1 to enter park
Rename him E=mc2. Find guest 2 and rename E=mc3. After a little bit they will meet and start brainstroming then they will
ask to join your enhancement team click YES after that they enhancement team will say the team is moving in bounds and leaps.
The rides,food etc. will be done faster...Much faster.
"Rich Guy and Pocket Picker"
Name on of the people in your
park Richard Branson and he will make everybody rich. Name on of the people in your park Richard Tan and he will pocket pick
people!!
Wash Away the Sickness
When a guest is sick, pick him up, drop
him in the water, pick him up, drop him in the water etc... Keep doing that and the sick guest will become very happy and
healthy.
(NOTE: The guest will become sick again later throughout the game.)
Hint: Remove Weeds without Mowing
To remove weeds without mowing
the landscape, click on a construction button (like the leveling land button). Then click on a weed... it will disappear!
Station Brakes Tip
Always put brakes just before a station
to slow the train to 4mph. This way, when your station breaks fail, you will not lose your roller coaster and get bad publicity.
Hint: Tycoon Tips
- Building costs
Construction is cheaper on a level surface than an uneven one.
- Park layout
Keep the park layout simple. Too many paths for instance confuse guests and get them lost
or angry.
- Observation towers
The busiest observation decks have ample view of the park (preferably 360 degrees).
- Monorails
The cheapest monorail has the fewest stops.
- Roller coasters
Freaky roller coasters frighten guests.
- Stage shows
Imitate Vaudeville. Use a variety of good acts to keep the audience engaged.
- Shops and Stalls
Park owners can charge the highest prices when their shops are near the rear of the park.
(After walking that far, tired and hungry guests are more than willing to pay high prices.) However, when they are too closely
packed, shop owners may end up competing for customers, causing the overall price level to fall.
Hint: Water Slides
If your waterslides are getting stuck, hit
pause, close, construction, then open again and unpause. That should fix the problem.
Hint: Fix Ride
First, close the ride/attraction. Next, change
the number of cars/trains. This should cause new cars to appear. If they don't show, quickly switch the ride from test run
and back to closed again. The text at the bottom of the window should change if done right. You might have to delete a piece
of track and replace it with the same piece to make it work. Doing this will save repair costs.

Hint: Keep Guests Longer
To keep guests in your park simply
put a banner behind the exit and select the "No Entry" button. The guests will not pass the sign, and will instead stay in
your park. Be careful, though. Your park rating will drop drastically.

Photographer guest
Change a guest's name to Chris Sawyer. That
person walks around taking photos.
Overpaying guest
Change a guest's name to John Mace. That person
will pay double for rides they go on.
Speedy Guest 2
Change a guest's name to Micheal Schumacher:That
person will also drive very fast on go-karts.
Speedy Guest 1
Change a guest's name to Damon Hill:That person
will drive very fast on go-karts.
Poping Balloons
To make a balloon pop, click on it. This ONLY
happens when a guest has let go of his balloon.
Artist Guest
Change a guest's name to Simon Foster. That person
does paintings.
Happy Guest
Change a guest's name to Melanie Warn. That person
will be very happy.
Free money
If you shut down your park for a year, you will
get $10,000.
Freak out the guests
Click on any guest and open his/her window.
Keep the window open for a while and the guest will think "I have the strangest feeling someone is watching me."
Hungry Guest
Change a guest's name to Tony Day. That person
is very and always hungry.
Let Guests In, Keep Guests In
On RCT select a banner sign and
put it just in front of the park exit. Make sure this sign is facing the correct direction or guests can't get in the park.
Now click the red button with a line on it, this will make it so guests cant get out of the park but guests can get in.
NOTE: While this works well, it also brings your park rating down. Use it with care.
Impressed Guest
Change a guest's name to John Wardley. That
person will think WOW when seeing a ride.
Quacking Duck
To make a duck quack click on it.
Ride tips
Click pause then reset a ride, the rides will be
back at the station and there will still be a queue line (if you have one).
If a rollercoaster crashes, click the off (red) botton several times, and you will get your coaster(s) back!
Once you have built a coaster, and the intensity is over 10, you know that no-one is gonna ride it. If you
switch the ride off (red button) and change the number of trains, and then change the number of trains back, the game will
think you have changed the whole coaster, thus the coaster is untested. Kids will ride a coaster if it hasn't been tested
no matter the intensity. So they'll ride the coaster and give you CA$H! But remember it's only untested the first time, but
you could do it again and again if you have the time.
Raise Park Rating
Change a guest's name to John Bibrough:That
person will enable each time L is pressed, the park rating goes up. . Note: You have to hit F a couple times for the rating
to finally go up.
Waving Guest
Change a guest's name to Katie Brayshaw, That
person will wave to everyone.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 Tips and Cheats:
Hint: Multiple Cheats
You can have more than one person with
the same name by changing the capitalization of the name's letters. Example: There can be four Chris Sawyers in your park
if one is named Chris Sawyer and the others chris sawyer, CHRIS SAWYER, and cHrIs SaWyEr.
More Name Calling
Rename your guests for some more non-sequitur
remarks.
Andy Hine - Has gibberish after getting off a ride.
David Ellis - Has gibberish before
getting on a ride.
John Mace
Enter John Mace as a patron's name and he will pay
double for everyhing.
Hint: Raise And Lower Levels
To raise your scenery just press
the SHIFT key and you should be able to drag your scenery up or down.
Hint: Money Making Technique
Raise the prices of all the rides
in your park to their excitement rating. For example if the excitement rating is 8.27 you should charge them $8.30. (Round
up) Guests will never think you ride is too expensive. NOTE: This trick wont work for certain rides such as cinemas
or dodgems so you should either demolish them or lower the cost 10-50 cents. Make sure that all your rides have been re-priced
this way or guests will only go on that ride.

- Melanie Warn -- Increases the guest to completely happy
